Hostil- hello mr elaquent how r u???
Elaquent - im good, im good. lots of big things happening lately, cant complain.
Hostil- how old r u????when did u born????
Elaquent- im 23, born in Ottawa, Ontario...
Hostil- who r u behind the music???
Elaquent-behind the music im just a video game head obsessed with sega genesis and kung fu movies. lol
Hostil- how and when was ur fisrt contact with music???
Elaquent-i took piano lessons when i was about 6 or 7...which is the first thing musical i ever tried....made my first beat at age 13 and im 23 now...so i guess i've been at it forever.
Hostil- what r ur ispirations???
Elaquent- im inspired by lots of the usuals...J Dilla, Pete Rock, Primo, Rza to name a few...also a big fan of Amy Winehouse, Flying Lotus, Musiq, D'Angelo as well.
Hostil- wich album r u currently listening????
Elaquent-right now im bumpin my man Aspect 1's "Vibe Ready" album....cop that!..haha as well some exclusives i got from my man Kelakovski. just bought Slakah the Beatchild's new album, highly recommended.
Hostil- whats ur beast beat????
Elaquent-my best beat changes every 2 weeks lol, but right now 2am Reflections off of After Midnight might be my personal favourite.
Hostil- J dilla or Madlib??????????
Elaquent- j dilla all day. he mastered that soul shit, gotta give it to jay dee. i am a big fan of madlib tho.
Hostil- with who do u have work with???
Elaquent- ive worked with my fam Gill Breathin (Es, Solar C, B, Mathematik) as well as Moka Only, O-phrap, Trakz, Mishoo the Drumkit to name a few, ranging from lots of different places.

Elaquent- im hoping to do more work with moka only, as well as a neo soul singer in the future. otherwise i'll always work with the same circle of artists i've collaborated with in the past.
Hostil- who is ur fav mc????
Elaquent- hands down Elzhi of Slum Village. nobody can put together a verse like him...he's great live too.
Hostil- what is ur fav rap album???
Elaquent- definetely Common's "Like Water for Chocolate" album. everything from the production, to the lyrical content and the general flow of the album are seamless. some of jay dee's best production in my opinion..
Hostil-what do u think about beefs???
Elaquent- beef is dope! as a listener i suppose...lol the problem is that most beefs today arent interesting to follow...the last good beef was Nas and Jay-Z. that one always remained hip hop too.
